Re: Job Opening at A2A – C++ Coder
Wish I knew C++ coding, have only dabbled a bit here and there. Retired from 32 years Law Enforcement. Got my PPL n 2003, but, due to rental costs etc, had to settle in on the sim experience. Hope you find what you’re looking for, but if you know someone who wants to teach an OLD dog new tricks, look me up!

I'd love to apply, but my zero C++ experience and my perfectionism would get you a new aircraft in 2028, Andrew.

Re: Job Opening at A2A – C++ Coder
My only experience (it shows how old I am) is with some Machine Language,FORTRAN IV and BASIC (I did write a huge 32k up to 4 Stage Ballistic Missile Simulator on that back in the mid 1980's it was fun).
Unfortunately with my heart condition I am too busy just trying to stay healthy.

Scott, are you getting *any* hits on this from the community?
Ten years ago I would have been all over this one. Today it would depend on the specific projects.

Yes, we always get great hits from our community. Two out of the last three hires have come from call outs here, and they've all been home runs.Hook wrote:Scott, are you getting *any* hits on this from the community?k

That's not surprising, as the best will always want to work with the best.Scott - A2A wrote:Yes, we always get great hits from our community. Too bad I'm not a programmer or in anyway suited for work for A2A.
(Unless you need a classical concert pianist? If so, I'm all yours! )

All the Accusim-planes are in my hangar, but they aren't sitting long enough for their engines to cool much before next flight!

Hi Erik
congratulations on your fantastic musical achievement!
Genuinely no obligation on you, but could you consider giving us a couple of You Tube links of piano pieces you recommend; spontaneously would be great rather than causing you inconvenience.
I'm just a Bob Dylan guitar strummer, but do appreciate the opportunity to enjoy music beyond my everyday boundaries.
