I have finally got round to replacing the default Fw190D textures that come with the Wings of Power Fw190D's. I have already stated that I feel the default Dora textures are below par at best and downright awful at worst (sorry but it had to be said). This is the main reason why I spent the countless hours of work and research it takes to create a paintkit/template.
I intend to release a pack containing replacements for all of the 190D's in the pack. So far I have got three of them finished. As soon as the entire pack is ready I will upload to avsim and fswarbirds.
Here is a preview of the three repaints I have already completed.
Fw190D-9 "Schwarz 12" W.Nr. 500570 of 6. Staffel, II./JG 6 was surrendered to elements of the U.S. 10th Photo Reconnaissance Group at Furth, near Nurnberg on May 8th, 1945. It was one of four Doras from a total of nearly twenty aircraft which were flown west to Furth by their pilots to avoid capture by Soviet forces. Little else is known about this aircraft.
