Junk Yard Dog Charters

Post by trucker17 »

Junk Yard Dog Charters Base of Operations.....
After some months of running what charters they could, Bubba, Tiny and Mary Ellen have moved to a new airport.....
Located now in Colfax Washington, they have leased the only available location at the Port of Whitman Business Air Center Airport in Colfax, Washington.
After a couple of weeks working on the hanger and getting the planes over to the new location, as well as what office equipment they have, they have now settled into their new home.......

Looks cozy :D and plenty of room for a few more planes  might Junkyard Dog Charters be looking into expansion? Heck I bet Bubba could fabricate some wings for that container and you'd have a "Cargo" plane

No problemo with the move, but you need to find the "Procurement" Manager in this outfit, that area out that way sure could use some floats, tundras, and in fact a certain 7 passenger radial from across the border to the North would be a delightful "procurement"

Looks cold; is the building heated?

Just a simple question before I book my flight with this outfit -- do any of the aircraft have a "legal" FAA Airworthiness Certificate?

Well, OK. Guess my concern would be what type of grease was used on said palms. Conventional palm grease is slippery enough but a synthetic type would be very, very slippery and therefore of more concern. That would give me third thoughts. (Already have second thoughts!!)

Is there a guarantee of a return flight -- or even of a successful landing on a one way flight?? Is there a money back guarantee if the flight terminates at ground level prior to the arrival to the scheduled destination?

Inquiring minds want to know

OK.......
Here is a little prank i played on everyone here......Their are a few here who know what it is.....And at this time i would like to thank them for keeping quiet about it......
In the screenshot their is something that does not belong.......
That is my newest repaint for the Cessna C182 Junk Yard Dog III.....That is the plane in the back.....
This plane was purchased from the Colfax airport for storage fees that were due, and then transported from behind the hanger they leased, around and inside.....The plane had been parted out, and many pieces were missing. With help from other aircraft owners, and scrounging around aircraft boneyards, it is ready to join the JYD Charters fleet. As with their other planes, it was patched together with what ever they could find, and what they could not find they made.....
The nose was salvaged from 2 different C182's, the floor was rusted out so the placed a wood floor into it, and the dash face was missing, so they improvised and made their own....The wings were brought in from Canada, and needed no major repairs. The engine and propellers were donated by a gentleman in Seattle.....Landing gear was acquired from a wrecked C182 just a short distance away in Lewiston, Idaho.
