I have just finished beta testing Milton Shupe's model of the Bounty of Captain Bligh and Lieutenant Fletcher Christian fame.
It really is a super model and very soporific to gently sail at leisurely pace around the coastline of your favorite place.
I think it is going to be released early next week.On simouthouse.
I really recommend trying it with accufeel.
Cheers Chris

Re: HMS Bounty
That's rather nice. I used to have a working yacht in FS9, but all my FSX watercraft have been powered. Unfortunately, the wind really messes them up and in a >15kt headwind, most of them won't move. I don't think I've ever tried them with Accu-Feel v2. I probably should.

Re: HMS Bounty
That looks good. If it involves tacking into the wind then I may give it a go.
Re: HMS Bounty
Hi Bladerunner,
Yes you can tack with the Bounty although squareriggers had to turn through about 100 degrees to tack and most of the time they had to wear ship rather than tack.
Cheers Chris

Re: HMS Bounty
Very cool except that when I download non aircraft vehicles they wind up being substituted for other aircraft on multiplayer. I wind up being in the traffic pattern with that ship. Kind of kills the whole thing. Wish there was a way to prevent it from being used as a substitution

Re: HMS Bounty
Wearing ship? Crikey - it looks even more of a palaver than an NDB approach (and involves more shouting)!bladerunner900 wrote:Even better. Wear Away!

Here is a definition of wearing ship

The model sailing ship above is not HMS Bounty. This picture has since been removed and the word"wow" replaced it.
The Bounty did not have split topsails nor a lower and upper togallant as you can see from the picture Trucker posted.

Re: HMS Bounty
This picture depicts a terrible accident in the hurricane sandy that wrecked the 50 year old American replica and drowned two people.
The strangest thing about this tragedy is that the Captain was never found and the name of the crew member that died had just joined the ship and her surname was Christian.
