can't decide
can't decide
OK now is where I could use some help with the departure time I can't decide if I want to start the flight at 6:30 or 7:30 Monday or Tuesday morning any suggestions on what time for the start of the flight should be?

I vote for 630, you'll get the more dramatic dawn take off
Re: can't decide
Weather is one of the the biggest deciding factor in trip planning. If you are using real world weather, why not look at your trip as how you would plan it realistically based on weather. Go to meteorology sites and look at prog charts, winds aloft, area forecasts...etc.
As for time of day, the more daylight flying you can get the better, so I usually shoot for earliest light if I can.

I'll be waking up at 5:30AM to get in the air by 6:30AM I'll spend a hour preflighting the ircraft
Re: can't decide
Time is always an important factor in the flight.
You can leave at dawn and get the cool early morning sunrise, or you can leave after the sun has come up. Usually i leave early in the morning, when its cooler.

Re: can't decide
Are we still talking flight sim here? 1 hr for preflight seems extensive for a sim aircraft. Even a real world aircraft that's pretty long.
