Glenn Miller - Poinciana

Post by dvm »

This is not very interesting to most out there but for those who love the Greatest generation and the music of WWII here is a little music and propaganda from that era.

Loved it dvm...thanks for sharing. I actually let myself get lost in the video. For just a second I felt transported back in time, thinking about all of the people and how things we're very much different than today.
Cheers,
Randall

I grew up listening to Glenn Miller, aswell as other big band pieces, as my granddad and dad were both big fans.
Many years ago I even put a Glenn Miller track, Little Brown Jug, one of my all time favourite pieces of music, to an aerobatic display I did in a gliding sim called Condor.
Check it out, it's cheesy, and terrible. (the gliding I mean, not the piece of music.

Now Candice... you should have had much more sense than to put a flying video to Glenn Miller music!!!

Glenn Miller - Poinciana

Hi Folks,

Used to mess around with Silent Hunter IV - they had mods where you could listen to hours of WWII music while hunting Japanese convoys... Truly added a great deal to the immersion factor and took you back to an era long gone...

Regards,
Scott

Before I cancelled Sirius Radio a couple of years ago, my car radio never left 40s on 4.
