Hey Lewis,
Do you'll (A2A) plan to "VRS TacPack" your jets along with Accu-swimming them?
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,

from,
James F. Chams

Looks amazing - Can't wait for this and the 104 to roll out of the A2A's hangar.....into mine! :D

After an extended break from flight-sims, I am a newbie here to A2A's products, having just got myself the Acu-awesome Spitfire this very week - and just WOW.
I know, a bit late to the party, but I am just blown away by the beautiful job you guys did with that aircraft, every time I fly it I am just speechless, so much detail and care has gone in.

I didn't want to get any other birds as that would take away time flying the Spit, but now I am eyeing up the Mustang for the longer trips from my homebase at Queenstown in NZ around the Sth Is, leaving the Spit for the local area jaunts...and now I see a 104 is on the way with it's deadly leading edges...and then the Phantom. Very excited :!:

My fresh new install of FSX will now just have A2A aircraft in it and that's it.....Anyway, just wanted to voice my thanks for the great job A2A are doing here, you can really see and feel the passion they have for aviation in their products and videos.

The F-4 is on the backburner (so to speak) as well as the F-104 (which was going to be the lead in development jet before the F-4) - the new target aircraft is the T-33: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... et#p290356

Still nothing to report?

That would be sad, at least for me, as I am patiently waiting for the Phantom and Starfighters to leave the A2A hangars.
There is still room for the in mine :)

There has been no news at all about the jet aircrafts since several years already.
A2A is busy with regular piston engines for the moment. It takes them one year to model one, even though it's a well-know type for them. So for a new type of engine, you can probably expect twice that time to model a plane.
Also, I suspect they will go through turbo-props engines before trying to model a jet engine.
That probably means you won't see any A2A jet before 5 years or so, at least.

Me about 5 minutes ago:

"The new secret airplane is an F4 Phantom? That's awesome but kind of weird they're announcing it this soon . . . ooooh wait . . . ancient thread. Nevermind."

But still--maybe someday.

Sorry peoples, these where but on the back shelf or cancelled ala Operation Sealion, a long while back now.

Things have changed a lot since these early shots, and its one reason we now do not announce any of the public facing hobbyist projects until we are sure of public release. Dynamic development is the name of the game, and being able to shift focus multiple times over the course of even a month is not unusual for us now with multiple projects for multiple industries and a load of equally dynamic shifting dates.

thanks,
