B-29 for FSX

Post by Royale_Adio »

Would it be possible to convert the B-29 to FSX native-like condition?

Example: the WOP 2 B-17 for fsx is basically an updated model from HBAJ. I has reworked reflexions and spec maps and 3d prop textures. Would it be possible to apply the same quick updates on the B-29 and release as an Aircraft Factory plane?

I ask this because I'm just dying to fly this bird in all fsx glory!

Thank you.

I think we might get one out in FSX. If we do, no way possible it is going to be Accu-Sim.

As long as it gets the same treatment as the UHU, I don't mind. Updated textures, sounds, bump maps. That would be great!

You might have to pm Scott. I think I heard him say that he was going to, but I am not sure. So, again you might want to PM Scott. :)

I am thinking about retexturing the older 29 and doing a cockpit for it and wondered what was all wrong with it when placed in FSX? I have it in FSX and only noticed a couple gauges were messed up, has anyone been able to make those work or look better?

I'd still like to see another of my favorites, a Convair, either the B-36, B-58 or F-106...but a B-29/50 would be fun too. I'd like to see a Boeing XB-38 too, but that ain't gonna happen. I honestly want something big after the Mustang, its always better when its bigger (cough.Peacemaker.cough).

The B-36 (prototype) next to the B-29:

B-36 by itself:

The B-58 Hustler, the most bad-ass bomber, and fast!

F-106 Delta Dart:

Its time for a Navy Plane perhaps:

Or something different (Spartan):

Authorities reported that the two bodies appeared to be that of a an American boy wearing a pilot's cap and an Australian man with a bung knee. Police are keen to speak to the
director of a Flight Simulation Company in connection with the gruesome find......
