Hello and welcome,

yes, it works with Windows 7 just fine. If using a 64bit OS their are some things to be aware of however, but I wont list them all here unless you can confirm you are on a 64bit machine?

thanks,
Lewis

Hello, Lewis!

Yes, I have 64-bit. Sorry, I should have mentioned that.

Also, I've noticed there seems to be different flavors of FSX, which do I want?

I'm just blown away by the aircraft from A2A! Simply amazing!

You want FSX Gold, which includes the most complete version of FSX (FSX Deluxe) as well as its one and only official extention: Acceleration, all in one pack.

Running FSX SP2 (without Acceleration) on Win7 64-bit, with addons like the PMDG 737 NGX, and the A2A's B-17G. Everything is fine, as long as programs are run with administrator privileges.
