A few hours after watching the Olympic opening ceromonies and downing a few cervezas in the process, I actually logged back in to delete this stupid post :). But I think you must be right, and your allusion is understood and appreciated :)

I organised a skate session and managed to miss the entire thing. But thats all good as it meant the skatepark was reletively empty of scooter kids so a good session could be had without smashing into them, since all they do is dodge and weave around a skatepark with the spacial awareness of a blind ant on speed.

Plus from my facebook feed of friends I think I can piece the entire thing together lol

Sir Paul McCartney closed the Olympics opening ceremony with two Beatles songs. The question asked is why wasn't it made a Beatles reunion of sorts, guesting Ringo on drums. My answer was a nod to the Beatles' White Album (1968) where Ringo famously shouts "I've got blisters on my fingers!" at the end of 'Helter Skelter' because he had been frenetically drumming for almost half an hour during the recording session.

I have to say that is really REALLY in poor taste Daryll. In fact, downright disgusting.

I can't even believe you just said that, and I haven't quoted you because I'm trying to allow for your enormous stupidity, and actually hoping you might actually think about what you just wrote and delete it, so it will be gone. Just no place for that kind of sh*t, here or anywhere.
