Hold on: Skycat, do you not have the P-40 or P-51 yet? The Spitfire is AMAZING, but the other two are at least just as good- and each is more challenging in its own way!

Joe

BTW, once you've got the MkI with the manual gear and 2 speed prop mastered, the MkII is almost too easy! I guess that was a good thing in 1940, but I prefer the challenge of an older airplane!

I was planning on getting the P-51D after I complete my trip around the perimeter of the USA in the Spitfire, but I've relented and I have already decided to buy and download it tonight or over the weekend.

I've held off on the P-40 because of the earlier "too many toys" problem I mentioned earlier, but with the idea that it will always be available a year from now when I'm looking for a new plane to immerse myself in. I do have it on my want list though. :)

Depends what you like. Personally I prefer the bigger girls, but thats because i'm a WW2 Bomber fan. My fav aircraft is the Lancaster and any thing multi-engined and WW2 will get my vote over the little guys.

..Having said that, I am finding myself spending alot of time in the mustang :?

Here are some for you, Lewis. Found these on Twitter from Tuesday.

I think Her Majesty's biggest smile during the entire jubilee was during the BBMF fly-by.

I'd still like an Accu-simmed Hurricane.

Did you see the Queen point up and give a big smile, and make a coment when the Lancaster, Spitfires and hurricane passed over. The Queen like most of us must love the sound of the Merlin. Wish I was back home to have seen / heard it, the TV coverage over in Aus did not do it justice.

Air Atalntique who I used to be an Enginner for in the UK joined the 50th anniversary flypast which was also amazing.

Must have been hard work with the weather and the especially the cross wind.

Hats off

Dave

Notice how I put it in quotation marks, means it's a caption for the photo.

Replace Heidi with Her Majesty The Queen? Now that would be interesting!

"Yes please, Ma'am."

When I first saw this post I put together a video of the 2 to help make up your mind. My choice would be both :D
