... HSI of course, but also a GPS.

As Loyd Grossman never said; "Who lives in a cockpit like this?"

Shall we start a pool, post your guesses;

Yes, as this image is from the A2A FB album.

I'd jump at saying it's one the known aircraft in development, but hesitated due to seeing what appears to be a Garmin. It may be something you - and others - had coincidentally requested a while back; namely a modern P-51 'pit, possibly.

I stress that this is nothing more than a guess though, as we only have instruments to go by, and the yellow FI border.

Interesting choice there sir.

The F-104s 'sacred six' isn't quite as we see them in other aircraft today, the AI generally sits towards the top-right of the panel, allowing very little room for anything above it. Although a quick search reveals differing layouts.

Rusty my freind. You, are a smart feller.

;)

Maybe with the new avionics and instruments, we might also see a MP gauge with a needle that goes to roughly..... Uhhh. 110"? And the reliability or, lack of reliability that goes with 110".

Gonna try and quote a short conversation I has with a new freind.

"So do you guys often go through an engine per event?"

"Well, not the whole engine. Lemme just say this. We had people on the team that were specifically placed to let us know when the belly started showing signs of streaming oil. Its been getting harder and harder to find the later model pistons, which seemed not to melt as fast as the earlier model ones. So last year we actually had two sets forged for us."

;)

Hi,

A2A has posted a WIP picture at their Facebook page :D

Image

Most people assume the picture shows a modern P-51D cockpit. But who knows?

Greetings
Tim

I guess they're all going to experience what happens to you when you assume.
They didn't modernize the Spitfire or Warhawk cockpits, so unless they're maing a P-51 Racer model...

It could also be a nice enhancement to Accu-Feel, like adding the vibration physics from Accu-Sim gauges to the default gauges. We shoulldn't be speculating based on that little picture on Facebook.

Bruce, A2A put that little picture up on Facebook for no other reason than for us to speculate on what it was. If not, than they woulda put the whole picture up.

Well then, a lot of you are going to be sorely disappointed when you don't get what you hoped for. To me, that picture looks like a standard GA panel, like maybe a Mooney Bravo. Certainly not a Mustang.

I'm used to it. FS Devs have their own agenda. I gave up on being dissapointed and learned to appreciate the development they end up doing. Although some developers will take into consideration, "Market Value".

LOL... In reality. That picture looks like whatever the reader wants it to be the most.

Seems like you want a mooney

:)

LOL..

I dunno Bruce.. Here is a screenshot of the cockpit research video A2A did with Glamerous Gal...

Image

And here is the facebook shot...

Image

Lots of similarities...
They probably moved the GPS above the stack, just under the eyebrow, instead of putting it under the stack.

And I have never seen a Mooney, or a light single for that matter with a YELLOW line to visualy define the "T Stack"
