Many thanks to Terror, Neil and Sean D for setting this up :D . Feel free to join, we need both bomber, escort, and fighter pilots. Details on missions, will be coming soon.

The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.

Here is a sample picture of what we will be using for squad skinns. Each pilot will get a personel skin to use. http://forums.netwings.org/forums/attac ... entid=2582 http://forums.netwings.org/forums/attac ... entid=2588

Netwings has been having some trouble lately. Hopefully Neil will have it back up soon.

Thanks- it's working fine now.

The Virtual 8th looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I just lost my job, and I should probably wait until I am established again before I invest in the software needed. But I'll keep an eye on what's happening with you folks.

By the way, is there a specific day/time when the group flies together?

I am really looking foreward to this. I hope that we have a good turnout. So we can get some formation pictures to post.

George,
Glad you can join, you need to talk to Terror about repaints...that's his department :) The picture does look good, so there shouldn't be any problems with getting a repaint of it. We use the WOP-V8th TS channel, no password.

Jaffa,
We use flightsim 2004.

I split off the nonsense from this post, shackled it, and dragged it down into the dungeon below.
