New Aircraft Ideas For Development

Post by donnie1957 »

I'm sure A2a already have some awesome aircraft in mind that they are working on, but there may be some that they havent considered that would be equally awesome such as

-Fairchild C-119 "Flying Boxcar"
-preferably the original Korean War Era models with a gunship expansion pack, that may include the retro fitted General Electric J34 turbojet.

-Douglas A-26 Intruder WWII Era
-Expansion pack could include an updated A26 for use in Firebombing like out of the movie "Always"

-Martin B-26 Marauder
-I had to put this one because my grandfather was the radio navigator on one in WWII

-1960's Cessna 310

Just some ideas!!!

I think that a great plane would be a Piper Aztec.. This has always been such a workhorse. You see them in all the scenery packs as static aircraft. I have only been able to locate one for the sim, outside looked ok, but inside like mickey mouse. Plane is a beautiful flyer and and will carry about a 2000# useful load. Love flying it real-world.
God bless the men and women who never made it home.

Me-262. 'Nuf said.
I dream of an Accusim 262, but there are other options that seem obvious to me. From a strictly business-point-of-view, what product would send A2A's sales through the roof? Which ones are popular AND Accusimable? (Is that a word?).

A P-38 or Mosquito would be popular. Twin engines, complex operations, etc. Data has already been collected for the Allison and Merlin in the P-40 and Spit/Mustang. Or just re-create the Corsair with R2800 data. Take existing data and build on that for particular a/c. Easy money, and lots of satisfied customers. These are aircraft that can be flown, sound-recorded, and models tested by real modern pilots of these aircraft. This is plausible.
