We've been hit by a lot of SPAM posters, so we're in the process of purging our registered database of these users. In the meantime, and possibly for a bit of time, we've moved to an Admin registered approach. It may take some time ID'ing any remaining SPAM registration, but we should eventually get every last one.
Also, thanks to everyone who has taken the time to PM me with a heads up.
