I found this old Pilot's Manual and it brought back good memories of the old days!

Heavy Bombers & Jets was the first payware anything that I ever bought for flight simulation. I still have the box, CD, & manual all in like new condition. Even found an extra CD in a bargain bin years ago, so it's got a back-up CD in the box as well.

I may never be able to use it again, but also have no intentions of getting rid of it. It's a nostalgia thing. :)

I did have the B-29 still looking good and flying in FSX, but the jump to P3D finally put an end to her run.

Of the two early era Shockwaves/A2A aircraft I would love to see re-done to today's standards, one of them is the Zero from the Fighters.

I miss those days of a physical box, software on optical media or micro-diskette (s) and a printed manual.
It would be nice if A2ASimulations could offer their software add ons on CD or DVD again.
I enjoyed the artwork too.
That would be an interesting Poll.

I've mused at times whether a bound reprint of, say the P-51D, historic training and operating manuals would have a market.

Only on e-bay, Skycat. The competition might be fierce! A nicely done reprint with a quality binding would absolutely tempt me!

Occasionally I do see the old software from Shockwave Productions (Now A2ASimulations) on ebay also on Amazon too
Today I saw their earliest title Firepower on ebay looking through a search for Lot of PC Games. Also on Amazon too.
I can also find the boxed Wings of Power Heavy Bombers and Jets,Wings of Power II WWII Fighters,Aircraft Powerpack Aircraft Powerpack 2 and Battle of Britain Wings of Victory II occasionally too though they sometimes are either hard to find now or are fetching high prices
In fact I see all of them there as I am writing this.
Looking at Amazon jeez I see two new boxes of Firepower selling for around $200 USD
