Oshkosh planning

Post by awash2002 »

I've got 2 planes that does not have GPS's or Autopilots and I need to plan the annual trip up to EAA Oshkosh for Airventure 2018 but I'm having problems on picking my route to Oshkosh. So any advice you have will be great the planes I am talking about is the A2A Piper Cub and a Waco YMF-5

Interestingly, the highway your airport is on is the same one that KOSH is on... just several hundred miles apart. It'd be a fun VFR flight trying to follow 41 all the way up.

I've driven 41 from northern IN to Evansville and it was all I could do to stay awake. The Cub will be slower than I was driving in my car! :D
