2 Add-On Questions

Post by Zentiger »

Just a couple of questions:

a) If one purchases the Academic 172 or Cherokee- it looks like they have Accu-Sim. Is that correct, or should you purchase Accu-Sim separately as a stand alone? (I see it listed for purchase...)
b) How do you purchase an Avionics upgrade for either plane? I was thinking about the Garmin 750.. Do you purchase through A2A? Does this load and install into the aircraft automatically?

Thank you for any advice.

Accusim comes built in to the c172 and Cherokee. Only the older planes had accusim as a 2nd package. You do have the option to turn off accusim but why???

Go to flight1 website if you want to purchase the gtn 650/750. Great gps I highly recommend it.

Thank you. I will.

On Accusim- I guess I was asking if one should purchase it as a stand alone Add-On for P3D4 ? I am not sure why but I don't know what I don't know...

Accufeel is a separate add-on and that only applies to non-Accusim aircraft. Accufeel has no effect on Accusim aircraft by default.

If you fly a lot of non A2a planes then accufeel is worth it. Although a lot of the payware planes out there are starting to incorporate similar features. Not as good as A2a but they are trying and it’s better than nothing I guess
