The issue with Twin Otter is that it is rather expensive to operate, and unnecessarily complex in places. Caravan is indeed a good competitor in jobs it can get reasonably done. I understand the restarted production of Twin Otter, the dash 400, is slightly simplified in some areas.

However we have commitments we’ve been working on as well as more down the road that can push this back. We’re getting really close to be sharing one of our current projects in development. The Comanche 250 lost its fuel pump recently so I’m currently on an Airbus heading to one of our destinations for test flying. It’s been many years that I’ve flown the airlines, the last time there was no WiFi :)

I'm pretty sure I'll be dead by the time we get a B-25.

Just saying.

Think of modelling that Beta Range...... the ground effect...... amphibians - there's a challenge right there !

I think A2A are a little worried they couldn't cope with an amphibian physics.

Too difficult. Keep it safe huh ?

...... hehe..... 8)
How about one of these, satisfies both urges :) .... hmmm I could definitely get behind a Duck come to think of it.

This reminded me of an episode of Black Sheep Squadron, "Best Three Out of Five," where a Duck is used to help rescue Maj. Buell's kid brother from a Japanese-held island.
As guys were boarding the Duck, Major Boyington yells to Lt. French (who's sitting in the cockpit of the aircraft), "Hey French, ya ever flown one of these before?" Lt. French replies, "No... but I found the owner's manual in here," which drew a hearty laugh from Maj. Boyington.

I would love to see a B-25. Definitely the B-17. But here is a twin amphibious that purrs and has round engines...

While an Accu-Sim Cat would be great, the Aerosoft one is really quite good and has some Accu-Sim-like engine management characteristics. A little long in the tooth but still very enjoyable and worth a look.

It's usually a good sign around here when the stickied topics get cleaned up a bit. Making room for a new announcement? :D :D :D
