I've heard that commercial pilots back in the day used to use the adf to pick up ball games as they streaked across the skies.DHenriquesA2A wrote:Never have in the sim. I did however use the ADF in our real Mustang every once in a while to get some music on cross countries.

Entirely possible. Listening through the ADF was quite common in those days.CessnaSkypilotN7365W wrote:I've heard that commercial pilots back in the day used to use the adf to pick up ball games as they streaked across the skies.DHenriquesA2A wrote:Never have in the sim. Rolling Stones Jumping Jack Flash live cover vocal version by me ....."one-two … dow- dow ….. da-doo-doo ...da-doo-doo.. I was born in a cross fire hurricane ..dow-dow …. da-doo-doo …..da-doo-doo ….and I howled at my ma in the driving rain …"
As Dudley says, this happens cross country only (luckily for the occasional crew who supply cup of tea) …… Most of the time I'm alone and blissfully happy just with the sounds of fabulous A2A Comanche, Bonanza ……..... Aerostar
Happy New Year ALL YOU PILOTS

It's hard to make a choice when cruising.
BUT WHEN IT COMES TO LANDING, THERE'S ONLY ONE OPTION
