OK, I'm up for this

.
Let me tell you a little story......are you all sitting comfortably?.....Jolly good!
Way back in the dim and distant past when we were still beta-testing the 2.05 patch a number of the testers noticed that some of the placed objects didn't show up correctly in the middle to far distance and appeared as either bright red 'blobs' or cyan or lime green 'blobs' depending on the settings and/or GFX card. We spent some time discussing it and trying different settings and while all this was going on I was inspired to come up with the ditty below set to the tune of 'Red Sails in the Sunset'.

Red Blobs in the Distance
Red blobs in the distance, look funny to me.
I see them all over, Oh what can they be?
The LODs are not showing, I don't have a clue.
Red blobs in the distance, Oh what can we do!
Scott's tried to correct it,
But they still appear.
Let's hope we can fix it,
Before the end of the year! Oh,
Red blobs in the distance, look funny to me.
I see them all over, Oh what can they be?
I tested all settings, no changes were seen.
We have to do something, perhaps make them all green!
Red blobs in the distance, look funny to me.
I see them all over, Oh what can they be?
Scott's tried to correct it,
But they still appear.
Let's hope we can fix it,
Before the end of the year! Oh,
Red blobs in the distance, look funny to me.
I see them all over, Oh what can they be?
