Hello to all.....I'm new to this site and still somewhat new to flying in general. I can make my way around the cockpit and get where I want to go. I
have started learning how to do little tweaks here and there, such as add-on paint texts and lights and gauges.
But I do have one question I'd like to ask about the P-51 from the aircraft power pack.
Why does the Attitude gauge turn opposite of the direction your turning to..i.e I bank left the gauge shows I'm banking right etc. The ascend and descend is correct, it's just when banking port or starboard that it shows incorrect..or is it correct?
I changed the gauge in the panel file to a C172 and this gauge did the same thing ( I perfer the stock P-51 gauge myself ) any input or advise on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks....I hope I posted this in the right forum

The guages should work very similarly; both have a moving disc behind a fixed "airplane" and the disc stays aligned with the horizon. I quickly flew the WWII Fighters version of the P-51D (which is the same version that is on PowerPack, PowerPack 2 and that is sold as the Solo download) and the Cessna 172 in FSX under Vista and I didn't experience the reversal you are describing.

It's just a lil annoying is all. I just wonder if it's something in the air congif file that is backwards. :|

I hate to ask... but, are you reading it wrong?

This image shows the plane turning to the left.

This aircraft has been around for a LONG time. If the attitude indicator was backwards, I'm sure it would have been spotted long ago. Can you show a screen shot perhaps?

Indeed. Think of the yellow bars as your wings and the brown as the ground, blue as sky and the line between them as the horizon. And there you have it. As mentioned above, teh image shows correctly an aeroplane banking left (and diving slightly).
