Screaming crew

Post by Tug002 »

:D Just out for a short flight today and landed at a short field with tall trees at both ends. Dropped in over the trees to land and the crew screamed like little girls 8) . Guess the crew didnt like the sudden drop in over the trees. Great work on the audio A2A. Always something different, love it. :D

You wont regret buying the B-17. I have bothe the B-17 and the expansion pack and it is as real as it gets. loads of fun and very realistic. But i found that watching the videos really helped me to fly her though as it is a hard plane to just jump in and fly without reading up on her.

The nice thing about the B17 is you can go on youTube and see the actual army training videos. It is amazing how close they are to the A2A simulation, or vice versa... :)

Dont forget to download my Voice Control Checklist from Avsim for use with the AcuSim version of the B-17 (theres also a video on YouTube).

It will help you get used to operating her and add even more depth.

Enjoy

The first time I heard them scream was when I was trying out the St.Barth (TFFJ) scenery. The volume was up a bit and I wasn't expecting it. It gave me a bit of a shock to be honest. Anyway, I came down to hard, blew a tyre and slewed off to the right. And I thought Yanks were made of sterner stuff. :P

they weren't afraid of your flying, they were thinking about what the ground crew chief was going to do to them if you bent "his baby"
Orville's law: when the altitude of the ground at your current location exceeds the altitude of your aircraft, you have most assuredly crashed.

You do have a point because if I remember right I had damaged one of the landing gear during that landing
