The Rebel

Post by rpembert »

Here is my latest creation. I needed a B-17 that was mine and came up with this. I think it turned out very nice. I do live in Alabama so I have a right. LOL

Thanks,
Joshua

Thx Lewis. I am using Steve's DX10 fixer and it really makes the shadows a whole lot more realistic. Not to mention everything else looks so much better as opposed to using DX9. Kind of like a some what toned down P3D. Still can't get the shadows to work in the cockpit of the B17 or the P51. I'll play with the settings a bit more but if not no big deal. Just got the Voice checklist and really enhances the sim experience.

Thanks,
Joshua

Yes Steves dx10 fixer is a personal fav for my FSX installation and like you believe it closes the gap quite a bit between FSX and P3D when it comes to eye candy. Also agreed on the B-17 cockpit crew add on. A great bit of kit indeed that really does enhance immersion in the sim.

Thanks,
Lewis

That's a good looking paint scheme!
