Looks very nice Mike. Once I get my FSX working properly again, I'll be glad to fly it. :)

Thanks guys!

Lewis, This is the standard FSX enhanced by FTX global and Vector (latest versions). I have AS Next, but it was switched off for the fair weather setting from FSX. Date and time were set to the computer so I assume it had the winter textures loaded. This was a quick warmup and takeoff from KSFY in Illinois, and up to about 2k-3k for the pictures. Landed across the Mississippi at KCWI. This is my usual shakedown run, and other than the bridge north of KSFY, the scenery it is pretty accurate to the area in real life.

The paint was a request, and as soon as approved, I'll release it on the site.

Nice work blackhawks! I nearly missed this one (I don't visit the B-17 forum as often as I should). I have a particular soft spot for repaints of the 457th and 351st BG's as I used to live about half-way between Glatton and Polebrook. RAF Glatton now goes under the rather mundane name of 'Peterborough Business Airport' and Polebrook is an agricultural site. There are memorials at both sites though, and it's not too hard to imagine the sound of massed Wright Cyclones carrying across the countryside!

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks Nick,

This was a suggestion from a few folks working on a memorial as well. Watch for more info, especially if you're anywhere close to the area.

In the meantime, the paint has been released. I hope you enjoy.

Lewis, thanks for the facebook mention as always. I'm off to find the latest Jankees' P-47, with the teeth. That one looks like it will be my default skin for a long time.
