how to make a2a b-17 pictures look black and white??

I seen a picture here some where I can't remember what thread or who it was but they had a black and white photo of the b-17. how is that done? I tried with the paint program and that did not come out good. I thought about doing that with my p-51 piper cub and the b-17 to show

Hello,

you are looking at a range of programs to do this from basics to advanced. For a quick one you can try a basic image viewer and editor like Irfran view to quickly add sepia or B&W to your images. For the more advanced stuff your looking at image manipulation software like paint.net, GIMP for the free software and Photoshop, Paintshop for the paid products.

ah ok thank you sir for the help/information. I will have to play with the free stuff for now. girl friend won't let me do much more online shopping

If you have an iPad or iPhone/Android you can also get apps that let you download Photos off PC onto your device, then use a Photo Editor App and upload pic to a image hoster and post on here.

I have used photobucket in the past. One can modify the screenshot with many options.
