Are the swastikas on `Lassie` reversed deliberately or was it a clever reference to the Svasti..?

Well on the real "Lassie and her Lads" I don't think had swastika markings or bomb markings but Nathan got it pretty close and did a great job.One thing is that I think the Y marking on the vertical stabilizor in the pie slice is much larger in size and reaches the edge of the black pie slice according to the pictures that I have but I did notice on another photo that the sheet metal on the vertical stabilizor (has the Pie Slice with Y and the 297550 on it) seemed to have been replaced with a very shiny aluminum metal on that section. The replacment seemed quite different (shiny appearance) than the other weathered skin of the rest of the ship. That's another thing I noticed from the pictures that I have.On just one picture but it was a very good black and white photograph.I saw this on one picture on the Pictoral CD's that the 463rd Historian had.He did a great job putting the extra pie slice and Y's on the vertical stabilizors. We don't know if she had these but these were quite common on the NMF ships of the 463rd BG.We had missed these before on some earlier repaints that he did (It was my fault actually).

No,I am not asking to correct this Nath I think you did a great job and it catches the feel of her pretty well.
I'll be sure to take her up soon.
Thanks-Jon

Yeah quite a bit.I'll save the other one though as it was nice although not as realistic.

Great Job on Amazin Maizie Nath and the other 2 ones are works of art.

BTW I made a new big discovery about Lassie and her Lads and you wouldn't believe it after all this time.
From several pictures on the 3rd Pictoral CD of the 463rd BG I can now discern that the vertical stabilizor was not a shiny replacement sheet of metal, incredibly on one picture (It was a crew photo another crew) I could discern that the whole section that included the Pie Slice with Y,the Tail Number and the Girl was painted Yellow just like the rudder. The reason why is that I compared the contrast shade of the vertical stabilizor to the shade of the rudder and they were exactly the same yet differed with the shade of the rest of the aircraft. In fact on that picture only the outline of the girl could be seen as her flesh color wasn't painted as yet at that point in time. Then on another later set of photos (2 of them) a black border line was painted on the rivits seperating the vertical stabilizor from the dorsel section and another black line separating the vertical stabilizor from the body of the aircraft. In those 2 photos the girls flesh looks painted ( I thought that you did a great job on the girl).
