oxygen

Post by silenthunter »

I fly B17 in Tibet. I find I have to fill oxygen about every 10min, orelse the pilot will die. The time is too short.

I'm thinking you may have a problem I can fly for over 3 hrs in the B-17 over 20000ft and still have over 200lb's oxy pressure left
Check you maintenance hanger and make sure that you don't have a leak in the system

Or, it could be that you have your oxygen on emergency flow. That will drain it pretty fast. It the red knob on the oxygen valve. Make sure its closed.
