Since I have been flying in my new NG cockpit with the multi monitor wraparound view, my landings have improved dramatically. I used to be horrible and got nothing but grief from the crew about my landings.
After we moved into the new cockpit, and I started greasing the landings, the crew were ecstatic, kissing up and telling me how great I was. Then all of a sudden I have been getting the silent treatment, sort of like they expect a pillow landing every time. Well I think it is time for a few white knuckle seat of the pants landings, to remind them how good they have it now.
I am also going to set up a special radio shack on top of the bomb bay doors. Then the next time the radioman tells me he has a local radio station for me when I am on final, he is going to get to meet the local radio DJ first hand!
