Hey guys,
does the crew scan the systems (especially the FE) even if they're in the turrets?
Thanks in advance,
Zacke

Zache,
The engineer isn't actually distracted when in the turret. The engineer is still aware of how the airplane is performing whether he is in the turret or not. The pilot and co-pilot are always scanning the gauges and if there is an issue, you as the captain need to tell your engineer to get off the turret. Once off, he will focus on the engine that has an issue.
