Multiplayer issue???

Post by n421nj »

A friend and I were attempting to share the default C172 on an online server. Whenever I would join his aircraft or he would join mine we would get a message saying our panels were not the same and some gauges may not be synced. We both have FSX GOLD, REX 4, Active Sky Next with Xgauge. We tried several default planes and still got the same message. The only thing I can think that would possibly alter the panel cfg. would be the 3d lights. Any thoughts? I tried to delete the 3d lights to see if that was the cause but cant seem to figure out how to uninstall the 3d lights. Please help....

Hello,

re-run the installer to uninstall the lights but they are only light effects files so wont have any bearing on shared cockpit feature of FSX. Remember you both must be using the exact same aircraft and complex simulations don't work with shared cockpit mode.

thanks,

We were both using the default c172 in the same paint - the blue one. We then tried the default baron. If 3d lights doesn't mess with the panel I wonder what else would cause fsx to think we had different panels. I re-ran the installer and it never gave me the option to uninstall. It just went through the installation a second time .
