The A2A Simulations Community

I just purchased the 3D lights, installed and also updated. I also installed the panel and aircraft cfg changes found in the 3D forum. The Real Air Duke B60 External view obviously has new lights but they still will not illuminate the runway.

This is becoming very frustrating as I have been working on it for days. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My initial response was "I wonder if he has the 'Landing lights illuminate ground' setting checked in FSX" Have you looked to see if it's set? I can't remember if mine do or not to be honest, but I do have the setting checked. If I recall there was an issue with the Duke, but I think it was to do with the switches more than anything else.

I did have the option selected however I did find the problem. I used the settings for the B60 that are listed in the various configuration listed at the top of this forum. The aircraft.cfg file entry in the [Lights] section for the landing lights was ....._landing_light_short. I removed the" _short" and all is okay. I removed this for all three lights.
