Sorry, it took me a bit longer than I promised, there was an Auster that cropped up (tried it yet? very nice!).
However, here are the first shots of an early US Army bird, from the 55th Pursuit squadron.
It's still spotless, so I'll have to dirty it up a bit more, but I thought I'd show you I haven't forgotten your request.

Is this what you were after?

Hey no problem and the auster is very nice. The P-40 paint looks great I wish I knew how and had the software needed to do repaints I'm home 24-7 with health problems.I have done restorations for Mid atlantic air museum years ago and had a busines that worked on planes i just closed up 5 years ago and I am building my own plane if i ever get it done.I have been involed in aviation for the last 4 decades. I'll be looking forward to see more of your repaints.
Thank you,Joseph

Glad you like it! I'll be uploading it hopefully today.

As for doing repaints yourself, all you need is a graphic program (I use Photoshop, but Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) is freeware), DXTbmp (http://www.btinternet.com/~mnwright/programs/dxtbmp.htm, also freeware) and then time and patience. There are lots of tutorials on the net, like here: http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/, and I'm always willing to help. Pick an aircraft with a good paintkit (like most A2A aircraft), start with something relatively simple, and give it a try. There's nothing like flying an aircraft you painted yourself...in the sim of course
