I looked through the Master Listing of Paints and I didn't see a Transocean Livery among the listings of the repaints. So I decided I would do this one and offer it up when completed. I have no idea at present when I will have this livery available, it seems I will be indoors due to the weather and have done more work on it

Hope to get done in the near future. Here is a photo of just how far I am along, and as you can see I'm still a ways out yet from completion. The front section is pretty much a done deal now, maybe just a little fine tuning when all is completed.

That looks very nice so far, Mr. FoMoCo!
Re: Transocean Livery
FoMoCo63,
I would love to see your repaint added to the master listing. It looks great so far.
There was an excellent Transocean Air Lines repaint done very early on by Sean Doran. There were actually several repaints from back then that are not on the Master Listing.
During one of the first major 377 updates, there was a very noticeable improvement to the modeling texturing/reflections effects. This caused all of the repaints done before that update to no longer work or just not look right. The new paint kit, is based on those updated improvements. All of the repaints on the Master Listing were done, using the new paint kit.
Looking forward to seeing a new TAL airliner in the fleet.
Thanks for your efforts.

Re: Transocean Livery
Updated Progress,
Get those Berthing windows on tomorrow, and all is on the aircraft that's going on pretty much.
Then I'll go from nose to tail making adjustments here and there, and there are quite a few yet that need the adjustment. Then finalize the paint, make it all the same texture(s).
If all goes good a week, 2 on the outside should be ready.

Re: Transocean Livery
It is so nice to see people still doing repaints of the under appreciated b377.

Re: Transocean Livery
Looking forward to this one still, as I say the Monarch style yellow/white is always a fav of mine as its the same colours as one of my first ever aircraft flights when I was younger

Re: Transocean Livery
That looks great!
I know what colors I'll be flying in, as soon as she's available.

Re: Transocean Livery
Just got her installed and up and flying.
I love the little fuselage detail features you added.
Thanks for all the hard work and bringing another great 377 paint scheme back to life.
Added:
She's also been added to the "377 Master Repaints Listing", with a link to this thread for more info and download link.

Re: Transocean Livery
Thanks for adding to the Master Listing of Repaints here FAC257. I noticed now that you have an eye for detail sir
I edited my 1st post in this thread to put the link at the top of the page here.
Hard work, yes to a degree I suppose, I really enjoy painting at my own pace. The keeping track of all the PSD's created and layers involved in each PSD, that will put anyone to the test.
I really like the colors of the aircraft in the Master Listings through the eyes of your FSX. It's always fun to see posted photos of how the aircraft looks in other peoples set up FSX. There is no greater reward as a painter, then to see this

Re: Transocean Livery
I've noticed there are no United Livery(s)
Lets see, one with a white top livery, and one with a bare metal top livery texture.
Does anyone out here have the United livery of the 50's in the works that might be shared here when completed.

Re: Transocean Livery
The last I heard of someone working on a United paint scheme was back in 2011. That one never actually showed up anywhere that I know of for download.
I think you have a wide open canvas for either version.
