I suppose that many simmers of the GA and/or warbird strain are intimidated by the 377 because they think that flights need to be very long to be meaningful. I know, I was. But it is not so, here an example of a short flight of mine, in a hot and humid climate, the Samoas !

Re: a very short flight for a very big aircraft
Very nice mate. Although I haven't flown it the past couple of months, (had a really good crack in Feb-Mar), I find the Guppy excellent for short hops. Heavy weight and less fuel.
Cheers

Beautiful stuff and yes I tend to fly only around the UK or UK-France with the 377. And also yes agree with Treetops the guppy is great for the shorter flights

Re: a very short flight for a very big aircraft
I'd do more shorter flights in the b377 but it seems my career suffers. Longer haul flights lend a better fuel economy and rating.
