Alright A2A, you've given us a great aircraft and an Eng who makes himself useful. Now, how about a Nav? I think it would be a logical next step for A2A to include this crew position as planning and executing a long overwater flight is diffucult given the available mission planning resources. It would be great if A2A could produce a good mission planning module for the aircraft. Once all the data is entered, the Nav onboard the aircraft would offer headings, time to next waypoint, fuel ahead/behind planned, equal time point, and other general information regarding the flight's progress. In order to make things more realistic, the Nav would take a (celestial) fix every 30 minutes to 1 hour. The accuracy of the fix would depend on the Nav's experience level. The user might select the experience level of his Nav (inexperienced, experienced, highly experienced -- for example), and/or the Nav may gain accuracy as he acquires flight hours. It would be excellent if A2A included the Nav's tools for the customer to use as well: ?????, doppler, etc. I realize that A2A may choose to never update the Strat again (and the product is outstanding as it stands). However, if there is an update somewhere down the line (after the Mustang, Starfighter, and Rhino are finished) I hope they'll consider adding such a feature.

I made it halfway around the world with a stopwatch, map, and the plane's compass (coupled with an hour of route planning on the dining room table). What I'd like it a Boeing 314 to fly at 7,000ft, for 17 hours to Hawaii. That would be cool.

Prozac, I like your idea, it sounds like an interesting add, also for other aircrafts with a navigator aboard, like the B-17.

But one thing, such an update is not created over the night, it will take many hours for more than one person. Them working at A2A need money to buy food and pay for living and also upgrading their computers and a lot of other stuffs. So such an update will cost money, it is far too complicated to include in a normal update. And how many are willing to pay let say 10 euro for such an update? I would, mostly cause I buy nearly everything coming from A2A(cause it is always worh it). Just my opinion about this suggestion.

I would pay for more updates to the 377 including a navigator. Navigation is the one thing that keeps me from flying long distance and I think there are others that would say that navigation is their weak point as well. It would also be a realistic addition to a great product.

Let me clarify: I would, buy all means, be willing to and expect to pay for such an update. Something along the lines of a COTS II maybe?
