Hi,

Is the problem not enough take-off power - couple things to check. Do you have automixture turned off? I know the guys are always saying thats a culprit.

Also make sure you've got 100% fine prop pitch, Not at a hugely high altitude airport.... not left the brakes on? haha!

Hello, what is the automixture? how do I check if it is on or off, cause I don't use it.

Now, about the brakes, the brakes are off...

But I am wondering if the automixture is the solution...

It's in the FSX realism settings - On the top bar, can't quite remember which main menu it's under but it's there somewhere.

To be honest for all flights I have the realism set to max and have all auto aides turned off - best way to fly!

Auto mixture tends to be the culprit for 99% of the under power cases. Its a common issue that ranks right up there with users forgetting to install SP2 on a new PC or windows install

Hopefully the auto mixture is the issue in this case.

Everyone. Thank you for the help, but we are still struggling.

*Dangerous Beans, on my uncle setting - Realism, there's no such button (Engine stress damage engine) to tick.

My uncle has a Saitek lever that works in all other planes, it only doesn't work on this boing377.
Trotler and propeller works, but the mixture does not.

Another thing, we thought the problem was with the PS2, so we threw it in the garbage and deleted.
NOw, where do I download a safe one to reinstall?

I think on SP1 and Sp2 does not have "Engine Stress causes Damage",either way it doesn't matter, also I seem to remember Lewis or Scott mentioning awhile back that box is not neccessary to have checked anyway for Accu-Sim to work properly.
You can download Sp1 and SP2 at http://www.fsinsider.com go to downloads these are directly from Microsoft so safe, just ignore if it pulls up Microsoft Flight/click on downloads and you will see FSX downloads.or just open up FSX while on the internet go to "Home" and it will pull up the same website.
Is this just the Boeing 377 aircraft only? windows Vista/windows 7 "right click, run as administrator" on all the install's, also I think it will ask you if you have Acceleration or SP2 installed and you select the right one,not sure about the latter statement with just the aircraft.

Hope this help's

The manuals are located under your start menu >> all programs >> A2A Simulations once the aircraft is installed. They are wortha read through. The Joystick issue will be because you will need to map this via the joystick application provided with the install. Details in the manual.

Also worth mentioning that the B377 is a slow mover at first, so you have to be gentle, make sure you have plenty of room for takeroom and slowly build that speed up and cruise on the steps. Then once you have that mastered its all in reverse as once shes built up the speed she isnt going to want to give it up easily.

Hi people, I uninstalled and installed back the PS1 e PS2, but I still have no acceleration to take off.

Plus, the mixture doesn't work.

Would anyone have an skype to help us (me and my uncle) to fix and fly this plane?

please.
We can set a time.
Cause I don't know how else to help.

Thanks

Hello,Tatigued3s
How about let's start back at square one?/information we need is as follows:
1. Your system specifications -Windows Version,Processor info.,Ram memory, sound card/basically everything about your computor system?
2. What FSX software do you have/example: FSX only or FSX with the Acceleration package add-on?
3. A2A add-on software you have: Do you have the the B-377 aircraft only or Accu-Sim or Captain of the Ship add-on?
4. All other FSX add-ons you may have installed on your computor?

This info will give a good staring point on where to begin.
Best regards
Mark S.
