The O key works to open canopies for all AC.

The canopy of the 109 is manual. Does not open on auto like the Spit, Hurri, or Ju87.

Pressing the O key on the 109 or 110 will open it but blow it off for the bail out.

See the User Manual Appendix H, The Key Discriptions (CanopyEject) the O key.

The 109 canopy folded open in such a way that at any speed the raised panel would be ripped off. Unfortunately the original animation of the panel did not allow for it to be opened non-destructively, as when on the ground. It needs the collaboration of a coder and modeller to fix.
