Sound Files.

Post by Wonky »

About two weeks ago now my Dell 'Jukebox' blew both hard drives.. I have lost all files on EVERYTHING... (more fool me, as I never did back up anything..It will NEVER happen to me, I used to say.. what a chump I here you all say..)

Anyway, for now I have started to use my laptop (Yes, I am now backing everything up!!) until I can afford to buy (any rich Uncles out there?) a new Desktop.. I have BoB 11 running pretty good.. But I would really like to download those great sound files from Soupdragon, as they really do give the pilot, a much more realistic voice.
But, yes you have guest's it.. I cannot find them... So------HELP!!!!!!!!!!! somebody..

Anyway boys and girls... Hope you all had a 'Jolly' Xmas and New Year......

Look forward to hearing from anybody that can help a poor (very poor) man...

Tally-Ho.. Toddle Pip.. :? Wonky...

Should, except that site has been empty for the last couple of months. ...I thought we had a version up on the A2A site, but I don't have the address.

How big are these files?
"Ah yes, Michael (Parkinson)," Bader replied, "But these particular Fockers were Messerschmitts..."

RAF is three folders, zipped, 8.7M, 6.5M and 7.5M . I don't seem to have a copy of the LW ones, but I'd guess they're similar. I can't access the bob_dev ftp anymore, but I thought they'd been put up there, somewhere. I can't find the post about it. A typical filename would be RAF_WingmenChatter.zip

I'm sure someone hung these on the A2A ftp site, but as I can't access it anymore, I can't provide the direct download address.

Well, as I have the RAF files, I can put them up on my webspace, for now: http://www3.telus.net/v1ncent/bob/Soupdragons-RAF.rar

The recommendation is not to load the Player folder, so your own vplayer voice doesn't have the tinny sound, and you can thus distinguidh it from the rest.

I don't have the LW files, so that will have to wait for someone else, maybe someone who can look through the A2A ftp folders...

Will give it a try one day. Thanks, PV. Again :)

EDIT:
They sound great! I didn't like all the engine and browning sound mods but this one is really an immersion booster!
