Re: Installing BOB2 problem
Hi hebro,
I have sent a message to Scott (the A2A owner) with a link to this thread and he should be able to help.
Have you explored the CD. It sounds like the version 2.10 update might have been included and you just need to install the game first.

Re: Installing BOB2 problem
Perhaps there is a Game plus the v2.10 patch both on the disc, and you will have to install the game first, then the update.
Re: Installing BOB2 problem
I realise the game needs to be installed first. I have opened up the CD in windows Explorer. There is an autorun file, An Install File of 258.692kb , a multiskin v210 file of 135,376 kb and a empty text document.
Both the files, when I run them, cannot find the BOB folder. I understand also the game needs to be loaded first but all that comes up is BDG BOB2 updatev2.10. when I start the wizard
I picked this up almost immediately that the game was supposed to be installed when I first tried to load the program that it called itsef an update. I am also fairly used to installing programs. Question I have also is If I have not installed the game then why does the message "file corruption is found in your BOB2 directory" as the wizard cannot find it
appreciate your prompt replies
Thanks again

Re: Installing BOB2 problem
Scott, may have taken some time off after getting his B17 delivered.
It sounds like the game may not be on the CD you are exploring.

Re: Installing BOB2 problem
Hi,
That's exactly my thoughts. Question then is, what happens now? Not keen to try inserting disc upside down to see if the game is on the otherside as it looks (to me anyway) as it is a one-sided disc.
