Wow, you guys are faster than Microsoft at getting patches out. Thank you for the awesome product support for past aircraft like the 172 and others. It's a shame other General Aviation developers aren't as supportive as A2A Simulations, especially in regards to products that are only several months old.

Thanks, can't wait to see what the future brings.

Thank you. Just to add a bit on what you have said, the A2A "patches" are all you have said they are and much much more.

Once you have purchased your A2A Accusim product the updates that follow not only fix whatever might have been reported but even more importantly you get as well what has been developed and added to improve your aircraft AFTER the product has been purchased. In effect, as an A2A sim pilot and member of the A2A community you become the beneficiary of any and all advancement A2A develops for the Accusim program.
One can actually equate Accusim and its updating to you as being the same as your Microsoft Windows Updates.
Your A2A aircraft is always kept "up to date" and even made better !
Life for you as an A2A simulator pilot....................is GOOD !! :-))

Thanks for adding the trim animation however when I spin the trim wheel to the nose down position the animation moves in the nose up direction and vice versa when selecting nose up attitude the animation moves in the nose down direction.

I'm using the latest 06_28_15 update for P3D.

Regards,

Robert

I can't check this right now, but I would expect the trim tab trailing edge to move up if you trim nose down. Is this not what you are seeing?

I installed this update last night - I only have the PA28 from A2A. when it came round to the PA28 it said it was already up to date and did not need patching, which is odd because I definitely haven't run this patch yet!!

If I'm not mistaken Scott only fixed an install problem of the 06_27_15 updater along with something that went wrong in the C172.
So it should be correct that it says your Cherokee is up to date if you applied the 06_27_15 update.

Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

If in doubt you can delete the update folder and run the updater again. It'll then download all the updates for the Cherokee. Also remember some updates are done via the Accu-sim core engine so the aircraft part is not touched.

thanks

The trim animation is correct, I realized that the trim affects the elevator and not the C-172 directly. You guys are bang-on.

Everyone should always run the latest update. The 6/28 update fixes a global thrust issue that affected all aircraft.

The updater is only for the Accu-sim products if you have only the normal P-51 and not the Accu-sim realism package then you wont have any updates.

I really want to thank whoever was in charge of increasing the generator output in the 06_28_15 update. Of all the systems a vehicle (of any description) can have, the electrical system has always been my favourite one to work on, so the details that go into it are extra-important for me.

I don't have my sim setup up right now so I haven't tested the latest update yet, but is the bus voltage under charge now corrected to the ~28.X volts in 24/28 V systems (Cessnas)? :) This has been one of my favorite 'little things', and it is surprisingly little mentioned, because the original voltages would have been signs of system issues, and at least for me would have been prohibitive indications for flight.

Appropriate charging voltages for lead acid batteries are in range of 2.2 to 2.4 volts per cell - anything under ~2.15 V per cell or so (25.8 V in our case) won't even charge the battery, and if we get much above 2.4 V per cell (28.8 V) we start heating the battery instead of accelerating the charge rate. Typically the regulated values of alternator control units are something like 28.4 to allow for fast charging, while a bit lower voltages, like 28.0 are typically better for battery service life.
