Great screen shot!

Stewart was our home base for the demo at Oshkosh this year. A cracking little airfield and one of the visitors to our booth even managed to get a 377 into it!

cheers,
Lewis

Hello Shipdriver!
I really enjoy your phantastic videos, not only for their visual quality, but also for your profound explanations of scenery and settings! Is the visual quality really better in P3D?
Thanks for posting,
Fritz

Danke, Fritz! I consider P3D to be better at most things. The abundance of shadows that one can have without bringing one's system to its knees, among other things, adds a visual depth that is missing in FSX. Also, it actually utilizes the graphics card, so expensive system resources are not wasted. The only area where I consider it to be worse than FSX DX10 is water. P3D water still needs ALOT of work. There were times with FSX DX10 when I looked at the water and felt like I was looking at real water (at least when at altitude). I've never had that feeling in P3D. Also, one also has more control over water effects using the water constants file in FSX (which can edited manually or through FSWC or DX10 Fixer). Hopefully, LockMart will continue to work on water. That said, I consider P3D to overall be an incremental improvement over FSX DX10 (with Steve's DX10 Fixer) and a major improvement over FSX DX9.

Thank you Shipdriver! Now I am thinking about P3D more seriously.

Here is Alan's beautiful N8055 paint combined with Scott's beautiful wood panel for one heck of a combo. Since the plane is orange & black and yours truly is a fan of the same colored bay area baseball team, I added some minor touches.

Cheers

Nice shots pilotJ, I'd have thought maybe more of a sporty interior though given the sporty looking exterior. I'm personally using the classic wood type looking classic finishes for by bush crashing I mean flying :) ;)

cheers,
Lewis (Not a very good sim bush pilot)
