^^^ Great site...used it before for just that...
Re: The Accu-Sim Connie is in beta
Jacques, you are correct, although it's more like they are toed in or out; although you are technically right, "canted" is more often used to mean not straight, or off center. This is important to note because older free-castering nose gear might be turned sideways which could present problems when starting to taxi; steerable nose gear are less likely to have this issue.Jacques wrote:I remember reading somewhere that the canted nose wheels were to lessen scrubbing on tight turns and therefore save unnecessary wear of the rubber.
I hope this helps.

Old farm tractors often had the same setup. I can hardly believe they were worried about tire wear. There must be another reason than that, no?

Re: The Accu-Sim Connie is in beta
The calm before the storm. So hard not to come back everyday and check for anything new. I can go months without visiting here and happily flying the Mustang and all the other planes, but as soon as I know something new is afoot it is like a never ending pull to come and see. Doesn't help either being stuck in the house all weekend due to the hurricane. Hopefully everyone else affected by it is safe.

Re: The Accu-Sim Connie is in beta
It sure is, I prefer the usual way A2A does it. Announce with a video just a week or two before release. I actually wish I hadn't known about the Connie so early on because I now find myself constantly checking the forums every day like some desperate madman, lol!Roadburner426 wrote:The calm before the storm. Btw, this is the only FS add-on developer that makes me this obsessive because I always know their next release will be amazing.

I flew a Connie in FS9 years ago and it was a blast. This A2A model should be awesome.
