PC GAMER - March 2007 says...

Andy Mahood dedicated the entire, full-page simulation column to BOB2.

“Toss in some improved AI…and a new multiskin component…and you’ll end up with a top-of-the-line WWII combat flight simulation that can hold its own with anything on the 2007 radar screen.”

“BOB2’s padlocking system remains one of the best in the business”

“If you have the right stuff, a twisting and turning engagement between the nimble Spitfire and the quicker Bf109 can produce some of the most amazing aerial dogfighting action you’ll ever witness in a PC Combat-sim.”

Scott, great news. Can someone please post a complete text for us to review when it is avaiable.

Could it mean that determination, hard work, and a outstanding community does pay off in the long run.

I beg his pardon! What's wrong with the present AI and the multiskins?

Or am I misreading him?

I imagine that the review is all about 2.05 and current Multiskin. They aren't too shabby, afterall. ;)

PCPilot is a good read. I'm going to search out a copy.. it's available online.

Andy's comments pushed me over the edge on buying BOB2. I'm glad to see the sim supported so well that it has a chance to mature.

I hope to get mine in the mail soon so I can witness first hand what I'm seeing in all the great screen shots and movies.

Hopefully I'll have a few of my own to add at some point.

This will give me another reason to watch The Battle of Britain another hundred times... :)

And yet we still find things to criticise  although it is getting harder all the time. :)

I don't think so Borton, thats about as good as it gets, he does not seem to have criticised anything. His reference to ading a bit of improved AI is a reference to 2.05. Thats about as glowing a report as we could have asked if we had payed!

No, not him, James. I meant us, the users - more specifically the testers!

Hehe, there is always something to do better. We do at least have a healthy comunity, we are able to see the problems.
