28.8 P47s to the acre.

I was fooling around with my calculator and wondered how much area all the P-47s produced would require if placed wingtip to wingtip nose to tail. This is what I came up with using 15,500 built. 540 acres or over 8 square miles. That is a heap O Thunderbolts. I know I should get a life !
