Hi jacques_______ The P-47 was disassembled and shipped to Europe for the Paris air show. Glenn Bach flew it for the show and then it was shipped back to the U.S. It now resides in the air museum at Wright Patterson . You can see it on the internet. :) I have several great photos of Glenn getting ready to fly the the old bird. He is deceased now. He was a great pilot and good friend. :(
How do I go about getting my refund from A2A? :D

I was hoping that might be where it ended up! Thanks for pointing to her current location! :D

As for the refund, your best option is to open a dialogue with Lewis A2A, using the Private Message option in this forum.

Hope you stick around on the forums- it seems you have a few stories to tell!

Edit: Cross-checking the serial number of the museum's P-47 painted as 'Fiery Ginger IV' reveals it is a P-47D-15-RA.

P-47 installation

Interesting also is that the Museum sources the P-47 as a donation from Republic Aircraft Co. Which all aligns with the recollection above.

Keep in I think A2A can only re-fund what you purchased from their own store. If you are wanting refunds from FSPilot Shop, you will likely need to contact their support as well to request a refund.

Okie dokie, moved the thread to the P-47 forum. I'll get you sorted in your other thread as it sounds like you are quite confused and moving at the million miles an hour for a simple reinstall + simconnect or FSX issue, as people have noted.

thanks,
Lewis
