Well i finally took the jump (i prefer to say that instead of plunge since im taking a step up in my simming experience) and got my first accusim in the form of the Jug.

Incredible work guys its awesome. I have a question about roll rate though. Was reading about some tactics that guys used when they pounced on Me-109s and how instead of trying to out turn them they would use the high roll rate of the 47 to turn on a different plane than the 109.

Now with the fact in mind that the description "high roll rate", is relative and this thing is a brick and will not give extra 300 roll rates  ....What sort of roll rate should i expect when diving on a 109?

Also in terms of shock cooling....how do i prevent this when i take it up high for a short hop? any suggestions on how long to take coming down to prevent the engine from cooling too rapidly?

Love the systems though. Being a coder myself (for another group) i can really appreciate what you guys have done here.

JB

PS: Is it ok if my engine gives the occasional cough/pop during power changes at high altitude or just after startup?

I have indeed read them (i make planes for FSX remember? :) Although granted not to this level yet...) but sometimes its not always possible to link a particular sound with something during a couple reads in the manual.
