Re: A2A Piper J-3 Cub Repaint Repository + Paintkit
I missed the first flush of Cub painting but I decided to have a go at one. Couple of questions: 1: Has anyone done this one? http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7368089&nseq=0 2: Which model IS it? Every reference I can find to F BEGU says it's a J3C-65, can anyone clarify it for me?
3: Have I seen somewhere, chrome rocker covers on a paint?
Cheers, Ron

Oh well. Here it is anyway. Lives in France (naturellement) at La Ferte-Alais (LFFQ) As I said, every reference to this plane says it's a J3C-65 but I don't know....

Another Cub, this time a Brit. G-AKTH started out on life's journey in 1945 as 45-4471 (Military?) She then went to The Netherlands as PH-UCR, nipped up the road to Belgium where she went by the name of OO-ACL. A kindly Brit was passing and brought her to Blighty.

EDIT: By the way, if anyone has already done this paint, my apologies. I've had a good rummage around and couldn't find it.

Re: A2A Piper J-3 Cub Repaint Repository + Paintkit
And one more for luck. This is another French owned Cub, F-BEGG. In a previous life it belonged to the USAAF, s/n 44-80590. The round blue sticker on the side is Aviation Sans Frontiers. They do good things.
