I know it does not, just seemed so strange to happen, end then get this after the install, but will look at the files you mentioned. Thanks for the help!

Mr. "gwolb,"

Mr. Scott G. is correct in saying that this has NOTHING to do with the Cub; its an issue with the two default FSX effects files called "fx_contrail_l.fx" and "fx_contrail_s.fx" being over-written by an addon (the addon ones are NOT compatible with the graphics settings you are using). I've seen this myself (AS' F-16, CS' F/A-18, etc.) and restored the default ones and the "issue" went away. And, if you feel you need more convincing, here is another example of the same problem: http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/forum/index.php?topic=4610.0

Good Luck!

Problem after install of patch, did not have issue prior to install. Dust of prop wash is black now. Also noticed that after install and start up of FSX it was updating scenery files. Help please!

I am not sure if this has been mentioned Scott, but would it be possible to have your passenger "Heidie" call out your position ? I know she can tell time, but It would be nice if you were flying a course or flightplan, and got a few degrees off the plan, when you click on the map it would trigger her response to tell you your off course by 10 degrees left or right, if it was less than this, she would say nothing, as eventually you would drift off course by that much, and then she could tell you to make the correction. I am assuming that , if she can tell what time it is, she could be programed to trigger some sort of response...Just a thought!
Seeing as this J3 has so many extras,I am assuming that along with this great Aircraft, this is more or less an Experiment into the future of A2A's ability to push the envelope on what is to come...Bill

I have two small problem... i really don't want to bother, but maybe......

so

1.the oil check leveller If someone used the Digital Aviation Do-27, then that's method to check oil, then refill it.. i think it's way better cause it was more realistic, and "speaks for itself" thing

just an small thing i know, but many folks really enjoyed it that way...

2.the left window: it is possible to open it to 3/4, then close right away, not to open it full then closed?

that's all:) i really don't want to bother the team i understand that you are focusing right now for a another project, then the folks start asking many "annoying to make it again things"

another thing:) i really hope that after the F4 project, the A2A team go back to the piston/prop guided realistic small/medium VFR bush planes...

this small cub brings us a many happy relaxing hour now... (i bet your never hoped it that is came to "popular")

until the time when everyone have I7 or I9 or whatsoever.. i think the FSX is still used to a small VFR planes.. FS9 is still! dominate the big and fast IFR territory

(i hope it understandededlablele)

Thanks for the update. Great little touches like the paddle for the version on floats. I know it's a small thing but I actually took some satisfaction in using it to pull up tightly to a dock before lashing the Cub down for the night.

Cheers,
Rick

Piper patch v 1.1 causes FSX to hang. This did not happen before the fix. Running Vista x64 on quad core. Works for awhile and then hangs.

That last update made a big difference in the landing characteristics. It is much easier to settle down now. Thanks a lot for the update! I guess there is no more to be tuned in the handling now. It's perfect!

Head 190 magnetic for 7NM from YTWB Toowoomba in Queensland. You are now at Wyreema field. Do circuits to your hearts' content, avoiding the Hi-tension wires, bushes beside the runway and building rooves. At least that's what I did in the A2A J3 v1.11 -WOW, it's great on approach now. So realistic. Best in FSX.
