Absolute cracking work, this is going to be my regular paint for the cub when finished, love the look, love the little comedy hand painted bits on the side, lovely.

Oh my...
I accidentally flattened my layered file and saved it that way, so I lost any ability to further edit my work. But I salvaged it for use as a guide layer, and started from scratch. This time I didn't have to flip back and forth looking at photos, and was able to retrace the spraypainted lettering using the brush tools instead of lifting it off an old photo. Definitely a cleaner look than my first shot at it.

Anyhow, it's uploading to mediafire right now, and I'll get a link up in the finished paints thread for you all to download.

Here's an almost complete repaint based on a real world Super Cub and on a request by lawdawg. All that is missing is a heavy dirt job which I'm gonna tackle tomorrow and a fix for a miscoloration at the rear side windows. ;)

Hi Patrick,

great repaint. Will you still provide it to down load? Would be great, then you could both versions in "clean" and use "dirty" or use it as a Piper Cup Ski repaint.

Thanks and thumbs up!

Hey!

Glad you like it. It has been available for download for a long while now. Here:

http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/fil ... ima-thule/

The package contains the dirty textures as a base pack and optional clean textures (make sure you read the instructions in the Clean Texture folder).
